Mercan Topkara's Homepage

I am a research staff member at IBM T. J. Watson Research. Here is a link to my IBM page . My research interests are currently focused on the areas of social tagging and video sharing. During my grad school studies, I mainly worked on natural language watemarking and usable security.

I received my PhD degree from Computer Science Department of Purdue University in August 2007. I did my PhD studies under the guidance of Mikhail J. Atallah and Cristina Nita-Rotaru .I was a member of Dependable and Secure Distributed Systems Laboratory (DS^2) and Center for Education and Research on Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS).
